Biomass Screw Feeders and Coal Feeders

The new biomass screw feeders and coal feeders are key equipment in a boiler’s feeding system. They ensure even fuel distribution, prevent fuel from burning back, control the fuel quantity, and avoid incomplete combustion, guaranteeing high production efficiency and safe, reliable boiler operation.
▌Product introduction.
▌Biomass hopper structure and principle. The locking feeder mainly consists of a storage hopper, a rotor, blades, a rotating shaft, and a discharge outlet. As the drive mechanism rotates the rotor, lump material falling from the upper hopper enters the rotor compartments through the inlet and is carried by the rotating rotor to the discharge outlet. The whole process delivers and discharges material continuously and in fixed quantities. Because the rotor fits closely within the housing, it is fairly airtight and can maintain a certain pressure inside the boiler furnace during discharge.
▌Coal feeder structure and parameters

| Model | Boiler Capacity (T/H) | Hopper Capacity (m³) | Rated Power (KW) | Travel Speed (m/s) |
|—|—|—|—|—|
| QGS4-A | 1–4 | 0.125 | 1.1 | ≥0.125 |
| QGS10-A | 6–10 | 0.2 | 1.1 |
▌Advantages. 1. Easy to install and dismantle, with a sturdy structure; 2. Safe and reliable, and therefore widely used in the boiler industry.
