Grate waste incinerator 200 t/h

The main equipment of a 200t/h grate waste incinerator consists of the feed system and the grate itself; the feed system delivers waste continuously and in measured amounts, and the grate carries out drying, combustion and burnout.

Feed system

The feed system consists of a hopper and a feeder. A gate inside the hopper seals the hopper and also breaks bridging: when waste clumps and arches over the hopper and blocks it, gate movement breaks the bridge. The feeder and gate are driven by hydraulic cylinders and push a set amount of waste into the incinerator in a periodic reciprocating stroke, with feed speed adjustable to incinerator load.

Grate structure

The waste incineration grate is a forward-push stepped inclined reciprocating grate divided into drying, combustion and burnout stages, with a height drop between stages so that waste tumbles and breaks up as it is pushed, preventing clumping and incomplete combustion. The grate is driven by hydraulic cylinders, and the three stages are controlled independently so that the movement cycle can be set separately according to conditions in the furnace. The grate is cast in heat-resistant cast steel and offers good wear, high-temperature and corrosion resistance.
