The partner factory shipped a 15-ton chain grate to the Philippines
A 15-ton chain grate has been shipped to the Philippines. The partner factory handlesd the selection and coordination, and the partner factory arranged the export dispatch.
Structure and drive
On a chain grate the grate surface is the chain itself: a sprocket drives the chain, so the grate links travel forward slowly. The links are usually made of cast iron, and after assembly the necessary air gaps remain between one link and the next.

Air supply and coal feed control
Beneath the grate there are usually divided air compartments with adjustable air volume, and air passes through the gaps into the fuel bed for combustion. Coal falls evenly onto the grate from the hopper at the front, and coal-bed thickness is adjusted by raising and lowering the coal gate.
