Square bolt
Square-head bolts are fasteners used on a chain grate. We supply them as spares, matched to the grate model or drawing.
Working with half-round bolts and lock washers
The fasteners on a chain grate include half-round bolts, square-head bolts and lock washers, which hold the grate plates to the related chain parts. Small parts of this kind are used up quickly in maintenance and are usually replaced in groups; we can quote a complete set.
Material and temperature
Square-head bolts are selected by the temperature at the mounting position; common grades and their heat resistance are below.
