The chain grate front bearing is mounted at the front end of the chain on a chain grate and supports the rotating part in that position. We supply replacement parts from our partner factory.
Its position on the chain grate
On a chain grate the chain is driven by the drive sprocket and the tail sprocket, and the grate bars are linked into a chain belt by pins and chain links. The front bearing sits at the rotating point at the front end of the chain, providing support and location there, and works together with the sprocket and the shaft.
Related parts in the same series
The same series includes grate bars (flat, stepped, ribbed and other sections), side seals, rollers, pins and chain links, as well as the drive sprocket and tail sprocket. When a bearing is replaced, the dimensions and condition of the matching sprocket, pins and chain links need to be checked at the same time.
