Solutions for Low Output of Biomass Grate Furnaces
Output problems in a biomass grate furnace can also be investigated from the fuel side. Fuel handling and quality control, fuel specification optimisation, and inspection of the fuel supply system make up the three stages of this approach.
Fuel handling and quality control
Fuel handling and quality control focus on keeping the fuel entering the furnace consistent in specification. When fuel conditions fluctuate, output tends to vary with them, so this step often runs alongside air-distribution adjustment.

Fuel specification optimisation
Fuel specification optimisation works on the specification of the fuel entering the furnace, bringing it into line with the grate’s feeding method and combustion conditions. Once the specification is consistent, fuel-bed thickness and draught resistance are easier to control.
Inspecting the fuel supply system
Inspection of the fuel supply system covers conveying from the hopper to the feeder and confirms that feeding is continuous, without interruption. At the same time, check whether the level display agrees with the actual fuel quantity, so that display deviation does not lead to a wrong conclusion.
Grate spare parts
If parts such as grate bars, cross beams or connecting pins need replacing while tracing an output problem, we can supply the matching spares. The spares are produced and shipped by the partner factory, and we can also provide selection and spare-part matching.
