India's largest boiler plant visits to inspect grate technology
On September 10 (9/10), a delegation from a large Indian boiler plant arrived at our partner factory for a detailed visit and technical exchange on beam grates, reciprocating grates, flake grates and related products.
Visit and exchange
During the exchange the visitors expressed a strong wish to build a long-term partnership. The visit laid a foundation for cooperation between the two sides in the boiler grate field.
Our partner factory was founded in 2006 and is located in Dalian, Liaoning Province, and it focuses on general equipment manufacturing. The company has a registered capital of 20 million RMB (2000 × 10,000 RMB) and holds solid technical strength with rich production experience. Its production base in Wafangdian covers over 300,000 square metres and is equipped with more than 600 production and testing units. The base contains five major production workshops covering machining, welding, casting, assembly and related processes.
The company now has more than 800 employees, including 100 R&D and technical staff. Each year it can supply more than 10,000 sets of energy-saving and environmental protection grates to domestic and overseas markets.
Product range and technical exchange
During the visit the Indian delegation learned about the grate product range of our partner factory in detail. The beam grate is one of the company’s featured products and uses an inclined air outlet design, in which the air outlet direction of the vent holes forms a certain angle with the vertical. With this design the air spreads more evenly in the horizontal direction inside the coal bed, the mixing efficiency of coal and air is higher, and coal leakage is reduced at the same time.
The reciprocating grate is designed for biomass boilers and waste incineration, and its movable bars run back and forth over the fixed bars so that the fuel keeps tumbling. It adapts well to fuels of different quality and gives relatively high combustion efficiency. The flake grate has a distinctive overlapping design that effectively reduces coal leakage and runs smoothly and reliably, so it is widely used in industrial boilers of various kinds.
The technical teams of both sides held detailed discussions on grate structure optimisation, combustion efficiency improvement and expansion of the applicable fuel range. The Indian boiler plant recognised the results our partner factory has achieved in grate technology and saw good application prospects for its products in the Indian market. After the visit, the Indian boiler plant clearly stated its wish to enter long-term cooperation with our partner factory. The visitor hopes to raise its own competitiveness in the Indian boiler market by introducing the grate products and technology of our partner factory.
A manager of our partner factory said that the visit of the large Indian boiler plant was an important opportunity for the company to expand its international market. The company will respond actively to customer needs and further strengthen technical development and product innovation. That work will support long-term cooperation between the two sides and jointly promote the use of boiler grate technology in the international market.
