The partner factory shipped a 15-ton chain grate

On the chain-belt grate, the grate surface is the chain belt itself; the chain is driven by chain wheels, which makes the grate plates travel slowly. The grate plates are usually made of cast iron; after assembly, the necessary ventilation gaps are kept between the plates, and a partitioned ventilation chamber with adjustable air volume is often arranged under the grate, so that air can enter the fuel layer through the gaps for combustion. Coal falls evenly from the coal hopper at the front end of the grate onto the grate.

The thickness of the coal seam is adjusted by a coal gate moving up and down. As the grate moves backward, the coal goes through ignition and combustion until it is completely burned out. The ash and slag after burnout are discharged manually or mechanically. There is also a mode in which no coal hopper is used for coal feeding; instead, a coal spreader throws the coal to the rear part of the grate while the grate moves forward. The speed of the grate is adjusted by a gear transmission according to the coal type and the boiler load.
