Slag remover chain

A slag remover chain is made of links joined in series; it runs in a loop between the drive wheel and the return wheel and carries the scrapers that move ash and slag along the trough. We supply slag remover chains matched to the equipment model, and the partner factory ships them.

How the whole chain is built up

A slag remover chain consists of a number of links, connecting parts and scraper attachments, and its two ends connect to the drive link and the return link. The pitch of the chain has to match the sprockets at both ends, and the length is set by the actual layout of the trough.

What we check with an order

Please send the slag remover model, the chain drawing or the measured dimensions of the old part. We check the pitch, the number of links and the joint form from that. We can supply the drive link, return link, slag remover chain links and ring chain hooks at the same time, so the whole chain can be replaced as one set.
