We supply the front wheel (16 teeth) for chain-belt grates from the partner factory; it serves the drive at the front end of the chain and can be shipped together with spare parts of the same series.
Tooth count and meshing
On a chain-belt grate the drive sprocket and the tail sprocket move the chain, and the grate plates run as a chain belt joined by pins and chain links. The front wheel meshes with the chain through its 16 teeth; the tooth profile and pitch must match the chain so that the chain passes the front end smoothly. When selecting, confirm against three items: the grate model, the drawing and the tooth count.
Structure and material
The front wheel is a sprocket-type part of the chain-belt system and belongs to the same group as the drive sprocket and the tail sprocket. Sprocket-type parts can be made of ductile iron; parts in hotter positions can use Cr25Ni20 (310S), Cr26Ni12 or Cr20Ni14. The material range of the partner factory covers HT200, HT250, RTSi5, RQTSi5, RTCr16, RTCr, RTCr2, RTCr5 and RTCr2Si4Mo, and the products meet the NB/T 47050-2016 technical standard.
Spare parts in the same series
Spare parts in the same series include grate plates (flat, stepped, ribbed and other sections), side seals, rollers, pins, chain links and the chain-belt front bearing. The front wheel can be supplied as a set with the chain, pins and chain links after the mating dimensions are checked against the same drawing.
How we supply
The partner factory handles dispatch, and we can customise dimensions to customer requirements. Please provide the grate model or drawing and state the tooth count and quantity so that we can give you an accurate quote.
