ZG40Cr25Ni20Si2 Boiler Hoods, Grate Bars, Grates, and Industrial Furnace Accessories with Spectral Testing — Material Guaranteed
ZG40Cr25Ni20Si2 (known as 2520) is a high-chromium nickel austenitic heat-resistant cast steel, used for boiler air caps, grate bars and grates and other high-temperature parts of industrial furnaces. The grade keeps a stable structure in oxidising atmospheres and suits castings that stay in hot flue gas for long periods.
Material and temperature resistance
Long-term service temperature of this grade reaches 1050‑1150℃, and it withstands a short-term peak of 1300℃. Chromium, nickel and silicon act together, and a dense oxide protective film forms on the casting surface, resisting sulphidation and chloride corrosion from hot flue gas, oxidation scaling, and erosion by slag and material. Against the repeated heating and cooling of boiler start-up and shutdown, its thermal shock resistance is good and it does not crack or break easily. Under high temperature and heavy load it resists creep and does not bend or collapse easily, which helps keep air distribution in the furnace even and the fuel burning fully.

Part range
The parts cover bell-type boiler air caps, mushroom-head air caps, grate bars in various sizes and reciprocating or chain grate assemblies, with fairly good ready stock of standard items. Drawing-based and sample-based custom work is also supported, with dimensions and structure adjusted to need, so the parts match the retrofit and spare part replacement of boilers and kilns of different tonnage. The parts are formed by integrated precision casting and suit severe duties such as circulating fluidised bed boilers, waste incinerators, biomass boilers and industrial heat treatment kilns.
Material testing and traceability
Every batch can be supported with spectral testing and a spectral material report, with strict control of the alloy element ranges for chromium, nickel and silicon. This keeps the material as specified and traceable and also avoids early burn-out and cracking failure caused by cut alloy elements. Documented material data helps reduce later operation and maintenance cost at the source.
