The partner factory shipped an 18-ton small flake grate to Wuxi
One 18-ton small flake grate has been dispatched from the partner plant to Wuxi. This delivery is a flake-type grate, and its structure and scope of application are described below.
Grate surface and chain structure
The grate surface of a flake-type grate is usually made up of 4~12 mutually parallel chains (similar to the chain structure of a bicycle). Each chain uses hoe bolts to string together several chain sections made up of large rings, small rings, washers, liner tubes and other elements. The grate bars are assembled on the chains by clamping plates, overlapping front and rear and pressing close to each other in a fish-scale pattern. After the grate bars reach the rear end and turn downward into the return run, they overturn one after another under their own weight and hang upside down on the clamping plates, and can automatically remove ash and slag and obtain cooling.
Adjacent chains are connected by tie rods and sleeves. This keeps the distance between the chains unchanged.

Scope of application
The flake grate is suitable for boilers with an evaporation capacity below 65 t/h. It is an integral quick-assembly grate arranged in a single layer, runs smoothly and reliably, and suits small and medium boiler plants and boiler matching use.
